A Ventura lab that tests what AquaStar builds
AquaStar was founded in October of 2003 on the belief that better equipment leads to safer and more enjoyable pool and spa experiences. Today the company holds a portfolio of over 60 patents and sells through authorized distributors, never direct.
Todd Pieri, now President, put the model plainly in a 2021 press release: AquaStar is “capable of doing everything from designing initial engineering concepts to finishing and producing in-house.” The laboratory below is where that last step is proved.

Robotic APSP-16 testing improves repeatability, precision and accuracy on drain covers before a distributor ever stocks them. The result for buyers is a drain designed against measured flow, not only a pass mark.
While third-party testing and certifications confirm a product is able to pass VGBA requirements, only through in-house testing can each design be optimized.
