2023 Pool Nation Awards, Innovative Product of the Year
PureStar™ ozone
A geodesic corona-discharge ozone generator from AquaStar in Ventura, built to go onto a pad that is already plumbed.
Ozone from a geodesic corona discharge
PureStar™ is AquaStar's geodesic corona-discharge ozone generator, with an output of up to 1 g/hour. AquaStar announced it in a press release dated September 29, 2023.
Pool Nation named PureStar the Innovative Product of the Year at the 2023 Pool Nation Awards, and the Pool Nation Podcast gave the system its own episode, E-152.
A Pipeline Filter with the blue PureStar ozone injector on an installed equipment pad
Under 18 inches of plumbing
The injector needs under 18 inches of plumbing, which is why it can go onto a pad that is already built. AquaStar lists PureStar for retrofit or for new construction.
Activation is smart and vacuum-controlled, and flow through the unit is self-regulating. The pad pictured above is a real install: a Pipeline Filter with the blue PureStar injector, a Pipeline Pump and a FlowStar valve on the same run.
One third of The New 3
AquaStar sells PureStar beside the Pipeline Pump and the Pipeline Filter as The New 3, and calls it the most efficient pool system on the market. That is AquaStar's own claim. Ask your local distributor about the three together.
Nick Gonzalez wrote on Google: "And the Ozone Generator has our pool looking clearer than ever!"
AquaStar donates a portion of proceeds from every sale of PureStar Ozone Systems, Pipeline Filters and Pipeline Pumps to Every Child a Swimmer.
