How to Find and Order AquaStar Parts

AquaStar designs and builds pool and spa equipment in Ventura, California, and it does not sell direct. The website says so plainly: "For orders & pricing information, please contact your local distributor." That sentence is the first step of any order, for a builder specifying a drain, a service tech replacing a pump part or an owner with a filter that needs a core. This article walks the route from a failed part to a confirmed order.

Start with the distributor

AquaStar works through authorized distributors, and its website carries a distributor locations map so you can find the one that serves your area. Orders, availability and prices all come from them. AquaStar publishes no prices anywhere, so any price you see on a marketplace listing did not come from the manufacturer's site.

Tell the distributor what you are replacing, not only what you want. "A Pipeline Pump" is not enough information. The horsepower version, the model and the system it sits in are what let them find the right item. Having those ready shortens the call and cuts the chance of a second trip.

If you are not sure which distributor to use, you can call the office and ask. AquaStar also has regional sales managers covering regions of the United States, Canada and Latin America, and the office can tell you who covers your area.

Get the part number right

Part numbers carry real information, and a near miss is still a miss. AquaStar's catalog includes the PLF27000 and PLF35000 filters, a CyberStar® kit numbered CSR1601-H for concrete pools, a ProStar® leaf catcher numbered HWN162, Fill-Lid fillable lids numbered FL10, SFL10 and SFL11, and builder kits in the VBK and FBK series for vinyl and fiberglass pools.

Copy the number exactly as printed, suffix letters included. In AquaStar's own list the cleaner kit is CSR1601-H, and the H is part of the number. A Google review shows what happens when the number is off. Mary Kaul ordered a filter core assembly through a marketplace, and it was the one for the smaller PLF 27000 when she needed the one for her PLF 35000. She called AquaStar, spoke with Katrina in customer service, and wrote that Katrina "provided the correct part number." The lesson holds for any part: confirm the number with someone who knows the product before the order is placed.

Use the 2026 Buyer's Guide Digital Catalog

AquaStar publishes a 2026 Buyer's Guide Digital Catalog with QR codes that lead to specifications, install guides and support documents. For a tech standing at a pad with a phone, this is the quickest way to match a model to its documentation. Scan the code next to the product, and you reach the sheet for that product.

The website adds other tools. An advanced drain search filters covers by pipe orientation, size, sump depth and flow rate. The company also lists a Web App and AquaStar Cloud Support among its flow tools. AquaStar also offers pros a free pool-safety handout, "Key Steps to Enhancing Pool Safety," in quantities of up to 100 copies.

What to have in hand when you call

  • The model number from the equipment label, not from memory.
  • A photo of the label and of the part that failed.
  • The pool type: vinyl, fiberglass or concrete.
  • What the part is doing, or no longer doing.
  • The name of your distributor, if you already have one.

A short call with that list in front of you saves a second call later. If the part you need is a kit or a core section, say so, because the right one depends on the model.

Reaching AquaStar in Ventura

The office is at 4544 McGrath Street, Building 2, Ventura, CA 93003. It is an office building and not a shopfront, so call before you visit. The phone number is (877) 768-2717, answered Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and the office is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Email goes to info@aquastarpoolproducts.com.

In Mary Kaul's story, customer service is where the part number was confirmed. Call, give them the model, and ask for the part number to be read back to you. Then go to your distributor with it. Orders and prices come from the distributor, and the part number is what stops the wrong box from arriving.
